Maintenance and upkeep of sprinkler trucks
The function of a sprinkler truck:
Sprinkler trucks are mainly used for spraying, cleaning, dust suppression, and spraying pesticides on urban roads, landscaping, or in factories, and are an essential part of environmental sanitation vehicles. The sprinkler truck itself has some special components (such as the waterway system) that require special maintenance, and the maintenance method is greatly affected by seasonality.
Specific maintenance methods:
1. Engine maintenance
Time: It is recommended to have maintenance every 5000 kilometers. For vehicles with an annual mileage of less than 5000 kilometers, it is better to have maintenance twice a year according to the actual situation of each vehicle.
Method: It is recommended to use CH-4 engine oil for engines with National IV emissions, CI-4 engine oil for engines with National V emissions, and CJ-4 or higher engine oil for engines with National VI emissions; Replace the oil filter every time; Replace the diesel and air filters after 10000 kilometers.
2. Chassis maintenance
Time: Apply butter every 2-3 months of driving. Replace the gearbox and rear axle gear oil every 40000 to 60000 kilometers. Replace the steering assist oil every 2 years or 30000 kilometers. Replace brake fluid every 2 years; Hydraulic oil and hydraulic oil filter element must be replaced every 1000 hours of operation.
Method: Apply lithium grease and butter to the vertical and transmission shafts of the vehicle; Apply calcium based butter to the chassis.
Suggestions for maintenance of other main parts
1. Tighten the screws of the engine, chassis, and installation system while applying butter, check the wear of various axle pins, and repair and replace them as needed.
2. Check whether the entire vehicle's wiring is worn, whether the harness connectors, solenoid valves, etc. are loose, and promptly identify and repair problems.
3. Check the entire vehicle's air circuit and various brake pump valves for any abnormal air leaks, and repair or replace them as necessary.
4. Check the tightness of various belts, water tank level, and wear of water and oil pipes in the entire vehicle, and whether there are any oil or water leaks. Repair or add water and oil in a timely manner.
5. It is recommended that the air filter and filter element used must be high-quality accessories that comply with national standards. It is recommended to maintain the air filter, water filter, and oil-water separator every 50-100 hours of operation, regularly check for dirt and replace them in a timely manner.
6. Check for any abnormalities in the steering system and adjust and repair it. Also, check for any abnormalities in the brake system and adjust, repair, and replace it.
Special parts maintenance:
1. Regularly check whether the sprinkler pump, water tank, water pipe, nozzle, drain valve, and spray gun of the sprinkler truck are working properly. If there is any damage or malfunction, repair or replace them in a timely manner.
2. Regularly inspect the power take-off of the gearbox and the transmission shaft of the power take-off, or the hydraulic pipeline, hydraulic motor, and hydraulic electric valve body (some sprinklers use hydraulic power take-off). If there is any damage or malfunction, repair or replace it in a timely manner.
