How to check and maintain a sweeper in daily life

The use of a driving sweeper requires regular maintenance, and daily maintenance is very important for it, otherwise it will affect its service life. As a popular cleaning equipment nowadays, any driving sweeper is no exception.

Daily inspection items

1. Check the height of the side brush and main brush above the ground before using a driving style sweeping car. Check daily whether the driver's sweeping brush is wrapped with wire, ropes, or other objects. (Pay attention to the position of the square holes on both sides of the main brush. It is easy to wrap and not easy to be detected.) Check if the belt is loose. Check if the brakes are working properly. Are the lights and speakers working properly.

2. After the sweeping truck is completed, it is necessary to clean the plates and brushes. (For workplaces with thick dust, clean them daily. For places with less dust, such as residential areas and parks, clean them every two to three days. When cleaning, turn on the main brush and be sure to turn off the fan to avoid damaging the filter cartridge.)

Weekly inspection items

1. Check if there is any oil leakage in the drive motor gearbox of the driving sweeper.

2. Clean the dust through the filter element. (Use compressed air to blow dust from the suction port. Turn on the vibration dust)

3. Check the front wheel damping system. (Whether the screws, shock-absorbing springs, and directional rotation are flexible)

4. Check if there is any wear on the dust-proof rubber of the main brush and if the ground clearance is normal.

5. Check the condition of the main brush pulley and the bearings of the drive shaft. (Whether the operation is flexible and whether there is any abnormal noise)

Monthly inspection items

1. Check the wear condition of the carbon brush of the driver's sweeper, the side brush of the driver's sweeper, and the fan motor of the driver's sweeper. If the wear is severe, replace the carbon brush in a timely manner to avoid damage to the motor.

2. Check if the chains of the driving motor and vibration motor of the driving sweeper are too long. When the chain is used for a long time, its length will increase. If this phenomenon occurs, it can be adjusted.

3. Add lubricating oil to each part of the chain appropriately. Not too much. If there is too much dust sticking to the old oil, it can be cleaned appropriately.

4. Add a certain amount of lubricating grease to the steering system gears and universal joints appropriately. Not too much. If there is too much dust in the oil used in the past, it can be cleaned properly before adding.

5. Remove the front shell and open the back cover, and use compressed air to clean the accumulated dust on the machine. (Dust on the dustbin, battery, and controller control board. Depending on the actual situation, if the dust is thick, such as in ceramic enterprises, it should be cleaned once every two weeks.)

6. Check if the connecting wires of the electrical components in each part are loose, if the screws on the relay are tightened, and if there is any looseness. Check if the screws in all parts of the machine are loose. If there is any looseness, please tighten it promptly.

7. Check if the dust scraper blade and garbage bin sealing cotton are worn. If there is wear and tear, resulting in unclean vibration dust, or if there is dust leakage during sweeping, replace it in a timely manner. The filter element of the driving sweeper should be replaced every 3-5 months. (For example, in areas with less dust such as residential areas and parks, it can be replaced every 6 months. For places with thick dust such as ceramic enterprises, the filter element needs to be replaced every 3-4 months to avoid significant dust during cleaning.)
