Maintenance and repair of hook arm garbage trucks
Daily maintenance
1. Hydraulic system inspection
-Hydraulic oil: Check the oil level daily to ensure it is within the calibration range; Regularly replace hydraulic oil (usually every 500 hours or half a year of operation) to avoid system failure caused by oil contamination.
-Pipeline and joint: Check the hydraulic pipeline of the detachable container garbage collector for leakage, wear, or looseness, and promptly tighten or replace aging components.
-Hydraulic cylinder: Observe whether the lifting arm moves smoothly. If there is any jamming or abnormal noise, check the sealing of the hydraulic cylinder.
2. Lubrication and maintenance
-Lubrication points: Moving parts such as hook arms, shafts, pulleys, etc. need to be lubricated with lubricating oil (such as butter) daily to prevent friction and wear.
-Chain/wire rope: Regularly apply anti rust lubricant to avoid rusting or jamming.
3. Chassis and tires
-Tire pressure: Check the tire pressure daily and maintain the standard value; Clean the debris in the tire groove.
-Suspension system: Check whether the steel plate springs and shock absorbers are normal to avoid component deformation caused by bumps.
4. Electrical system
-Battery: Check if the electrodes are oxidized, regularly clean and replenish electrolyte.
-Lighting and Instrumentation: Ensure that the lights, warning lights, and dashboard of the hook arm garbage truck are working properly, and replace damaged bulbs or sensors in a timely manner.
Regular maintenance
1. Inspection of key components
-Hook arm mechanism: Check the wear of the hook arm every month, especially whether the hook claw and locking device are deformed or cracked.
-Frame and box: Check for cracks at the welding joints of the detachable garbage truck and whether the sealing strip of the box is aging (to prevent water and dirt leakage).
2. Filter replacement
-Hydraulic oil filter element: Replace the filter element synchronously every time the hydraulic oil is changed to avoid impurities blocking the system.
-Air filter: When working in environments with high levels of dust, it is necessary to shorten the cleaning or replacement cycle of the air filter.
3. Cleaning and anti-corrosion
-Vehicle cleaning: Rinse the vehicle body promptly after work, especially in areas with residual garbage, to prevent corrosion.
-Rust prevention treatment: Spray rust proof paint or wax on easily rusted parts such as the chassis and frame.
Common fault maintenance
1. Hydraulic system malfunction
-Symptoms: Weak lifting and slow movement.
-Solution: Check if the hydraulic oil is insufficient or contaminated.
-Check if the hydraulic pump and directional valve are damaged.
-Replace the leaking seals or oil pipes.
2. The hook arm cannot lock the garbage bin tightly
-Reason: deformation of the hook and claw, wear of the locking mechanism, or insufficient hydraulic pressure.
-Solution: Correct or replace the hook and claw, adjust the hydraulic system pressure to the standard value.
3. Electrical malfunction
-Symptoms: Instrument malfunction, lights not working.
-Solution: Check if the fuse and circuit connectors are loose or short circuited, and replace damaged sensors or controllers.
The maintenance of hook arm garbage trucks should focus on "prevention first". Through daily inspections, regular maintenance, and standardized operations, the failure rate can be significantly reduced. Timely troubleshooting and handling of common problems can prevent minor issues from escalating into major repairs, thereby ensuring operational efficiency and extending vehicle lifespan.
