Precautions before driving a sprinkler truck
Driving sanitation water trucks requires constant caution.
Be cautious not only when driving, but also before driving, carefully confirming whether there are any abnormalities
in important parts.
1、 Confirm the status of the pressure gauge
The pressure gauge of the sanitation sprinkler truck is an important indicator. Before driving, drivers should confirm
that the pressure gauge pointer is in the green area, and at the same time, the buzzer stops sounding the alarm, in
order to drive normally. It is strictly prohibited to drive under insufficient air pressure. In order to ensure the smooth
operation of the sanitation sprinkler truck, the brake pedal should be depressed by half or one-third 25-35 meters
before the designated parking location; Then, gradually release the pedal 5-6 meters from the designated parking
spot. As you approach the parking spot, gently press the brake pedal to bring the vehicle to a complete stop. Remember
not to keep pressing the brake pedal all the time, otherwise the sanitation sprinkler truck will stop due to impact within
a short distance, which can easily lead to dangerous accidents.
2、 Pay attention to engine dynamics
The engine is an important component of the sanitation sprinkler truck. If there is an abnormality in the engine, it will
pose a great safety hazard to the normal operation of the sanitation sprinkler truck. It is recommended to ensure that
the engine is in normal condition before starting the operation. If the engine is in a cold state, try to avoid starting and
driving as much as possible. It is necessary to gradually increase the engine speed to the allowable range after starting
the engine, so that the oil pressure and combustion of the engine will stabilize with the heating of the engine. Then keep
the engine running until the exhaust color turns light blue before starting the vehicle, but be careful not to increase the
engine speed too quickly.
3、 Pay attention to the ambient temperature
At the same time, it should be noted that if the external temperature is below zero degrees, run the engine for 5 minutes
before operating at full load; If the accumulated driving distance has not reached 5000 kilometers, the engine speed
should not exceed 2500 RPM. It is also necessary to avoid starting with full throttle and sudden braking to stop. Starting
with full throttle can cause clutch damage or uneven tire wear, while sudden braking may accelerate tire and brake friction
plate wear.
